jupeb 5

Jupebregistration.com is all about bringing University Admission to your doorstep. We have done everything to ensure that you don’t spend another year at home without gaining admission. Expect nothing but everything about JUPEB in this article.

This article centres around three major admission facts. First, you need Jamb to gain admission. Secondly, you can gain admission without first writing Jamb. The third fact this article presents is that not everyone who gains admission into the University starts from 100 level (Some start from 200 Level).

The second and third facts above are possible with One Program. This programme is called JUPEB. With Jupeb, you can gain admission without Jamb and resume school from 200 Level.

We have broken this guide down into sections to make it simple and ensure that you don’t miss out anything. You may already be familiar with some of the topics in the table of Content. Feel free to scroll to any section that draws your attention.

1. Joint University Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB)

The full meaning of Jupeb is Joint University Preliminary Examination Board. As the name implies, Jupeb was formally established by the joint effort of Ten (10) Universities in April 2014. Jubeb has grown since that time to be proven, trusted, affordable, loved and a reliable Advanced Level (A-Level) Programme.

The programme is an intensive coaching curriculum aimed at ensuring adequate exposure to fundamental concepts and preparation of eligible students for University direct entry admission. The certificate obtained by graduates of Jupeb Program will be tenable in several universities in Nigeria and in some foreign universities to gain admission.

Available subjects in Jupeb are Government, Literature in English, Christian Religious studies, Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, Account, Government, History, Business Studies, French, Igbo, Music, Islamic Religious Studies and Christian Religious Studies.

2. The Joint Admission And Matriculation Board (JAMB)

The full meaning of Jamb is Joint Admission and Matriculation Board. Jamb monitors the admission process in Nigeria and offers admission letter. You have the option to register for Jamb UTME or Jamb Direct Entry. UTME is to gain admission into 100 level while Jamb Direct Entry is for admission into 200 Level.

Jamb UTME Candidates sit for Exam while direct entry Students don’t need to write Jamb. Direct Entry (D.E) candidates just need to buy the Jamb form and take to school for screening. At the end of your JUPEB Program, you will be qualified for Jamb direct entry and Jamb Admission letter.

3. Reasons to Go For Jupeb Program

The reason you should embrace the Jupeb program is not far from the fact that gaining admission in Nigeria gets more difficult with every passing year.  Thousands of people are already on ground waiting to gain admission. Thousands are graduating from secondary school to apply for the same admission.

Now, every University and Polytechnic has an admission slot. The number of candidates seeking admission yearly are far more than the number of candidates Universities and polytechnics can admit. Hence, thousands will always not gain admission even if they score very high in Jamb and Post UTME. The Competition in Jamb admission is very high.

Jupeb is less competitive than Jamb. This is because you are not dragging admission quota with 100 level guys. You are competing on another level. With Jupeb program, you have more chance to gain admission into your desired University and Course. You don’t need to spend years at home trying to gain admission with Jamb.

You can undergo Jupeb program in one centre and use it to gain admission into any other school of your choice. Since the price for jupeb form and school fees is very affordable, I strongly advise that you take Jupeb.

The good news is that you can apply for Jamb and Jupeb together with more options to gain admission. Anyone that works faster for you, go for it. You can use the link below to apply for Jupeb…

  4. Click the Check button below it
  5. Your result will be displayed to you. In the form of A, B, C, D, E and F which literally means 5 points, 4 points, 3 points, 2 points, 1 point and 0 points respectively.

10. Jupeb Grade Points: How to Calculate Jupeb Grade Points

The points correspond to percentage and letters. An means you were able to score between 70% and 100%. If you score an A in any subject, it automatically means that you have 5 points in that subject. 5 is the highest point you can get from any Subject. An F implies that you scored zero points in that subject.

  • 70-100% (A) is 5 points
  • 60-69% (B) is 4 points
  • 50-59% (C) is 3 points
  • 45-49% (D) is 2 points
  • 40-44% (E) is 1 point
  • 39% below (F) is 0 point

Now let’s calculate your score… Assuming you registered Mathematics, English and Chemistry in Jupeb. If your score in Mathematics is above 70 then you scored an A. If you scored 60 in Mathematics, that’s a B. If your score in chemistry is 69, that’s B. The summary of your score therefore is:

  • Mathematics: A
  • English: B
  • Chemistry: B

Converting Your Scores to Point, then it means you had:

  • Mathematics: A = 5 points
  • English: B = 4 points
  • Chemistry: B = 4 points

Adding your Points: 5 + 4 + 4 = 13. Do you want to know how important 13 points is? Check the next heading.
